Salvatore Morelli is Associate Professor in Public Economics at the University of Roma Tre - Law Department; Senior Scholar at the Stone Center on Socio-Economic Inequality at the CUNY Graduate Center; and Director of the (Stone Center’s) GC Wealth Project. He holds a D.Phil in Economics from the University of Oxford, completed in October 2013. He then held the position of postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Studies of Economics and Finance (CSEF) in Naples until May 2016. His research interests center around the measurement, determinants, and consequences of income and wealth distribution as well as the economics of income and wealth taxation.
